The University of Indianapolis Business School honored five Alumni who have excelled in the field of business in celebrating this year’s excellent alumni awards.
Rebecca from Quintana ’98
Rebecca from Quintana served as director at CPA somersset where she is now the managing director for CBIZ. It has been a CPA and has been in public accounting since 1998. In working with national and local accounting firms, Fromm Quintana gained extensive experience in auditing lucrative, medium, large, public and private companies. Its specific experience involves performing and reviewing audits of financial statements, understanding and documenting a wide variety of accounting information systems, analyzing and drafting internal control systems to include preventive and detective controls, and financial reporting and sec.
Fromm Quintana has also been consulted on initial debt offers. Among the many industries she serves, she has in -depth knowledge of production, transport, software, service and casinos, focusing on Japanese -owned businesses.
Timothy Harris II ’02

Timothy Harris II It is the international director in Harris & Ford, LLC, a large distributor of chemicals, ingredients and related products that serve food, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, water treatment and industrial clients.
Harris holds a doctorate in counseling, a master in multimedia and a bachelor of science in marketing, composition and music. His years in college were a whirlpool of hard work and dedication as he balanced many roles – working as a goalkeeper in his father’s company, Harris & Ford; interning at Aire Born Studio; and serving as an adviser to the director of youth and risk music in the church.
In addition to his expertise in managing the supply chain in Harris & Ford, Harris is the founder of several connected ventures, including an export-import company, All Points Global, and H&F Logistics. Its professional specialties include international business, logistics, entrepreneurship and strategic resources.
Beyond the business world, Harris is a published author. He has written and self-publicized a Bible of self-titled study and has completed additional works. His commitment to the leadership and service extends beyond his professional responsibilities – he has served on the board of Alumni Directors of the University of Indianapolis and the National Business Counseling Council. He currently sits aboard the goodwill.
Harris’s honors and allocations include, but are not limited to the Empivative Black Congress Award, which is among students in American universities and colleges, and the SID Tuchman Award from the University of Indianapolis school.
In leisure, Harris wears many hats, serving as a licensed real estate agent, Indiana Chaplain, musician, business adviser and writer.
Jeffery Mitchell ’91

Jeffery Mitchell He is currently the leading income officer at Igel Technology. Igel is a major innovator of the software for the wiring workplaces, and provides a safe operating system for the finishing point for enterprises.
Known for its strong combination of strategic vision and operational excellence, Mitchell has prompted growth, innovation and strategic partnerships in areas such as mobile device management, desktop virtual infrastructure and digital employee experience. Moreover, Mitchell has extensive experience in leading high -performance teams and running global growth.
Before joining IGEL, Mitchell held CRO roles in Aisera (I-Zera) and Nexthink. He has also served as a senior vice president in VMWARE, where he led his rapid expansion in calculating the end user and led sales to Airwatch, who was later won by VMWARE. Its achievements include revenue scale beyond $ 1 billion and forming partnerships with HP, Lenovo and key global system integrations.
Debra Ross ’85 ’87

Before retired in June 2024, Debra Ross He was the executive vice president and the CFO for the National Bank of Indianapolis for 31 years. It was an original employee when the bank was formed in 1993.
It helped implement many effective strategies in accounting, finance, human resources, safety, wire transfer, product operations, electronic banking and risk management.
Moreover, Ross was useful in creating accounting and financial policies that resulted in successful audits and regulatory records. She was responsible for financial and regulatory reporting, assets management, investment portfolio, financial risk management, mortgage protection and facilities management.
Jeff Whorley Jr. ’01

Jeff Whorley Jr. He is the executive vice president, the chief of FSVERVING EDUCATION IN FYVSIV, INC. where he oversees the company’s operations for student loan processing services with a particular focus on providing innovative solutions to customers.
Whorley’s career has included significant success in Fortune 500 businesses, initial enterprises and non -profit organizations.
Whorley has deep experience in financial services with a particular emphasis on products and services related to higher education funds. For more than 25 years Whorley has held numerous management positions in businesses related to education financing.
Whorley’s early career went to government, where at the age of 25 he became one of the two newest heads of headquarters in Capitol Hill. In 1994, Whorley won the democratic nomination of Congress in the fourth county of the Tennessee Congress.
In January 2022, Whorley returned to the government’s service when Governor Eric Holcombe named him to the Port of Indiana commission. Whorley serves as a commissioner while continuing his career in FSVV.
